Jiangsu Rutong Petro-Machinery Co., Ltd. is an industry leader in the R&D, manufacturing, and sales of oil drilling and production equipment and tools. Established in 1958, Rutong transitioned into a private enterprise in 2002 and restructured into a shareholding company in 2011. On December 9, 2016, we were successfully listed on the main board of the Shanghai Stock Exchange. Rutong ranks among the top 50 enterprises in China’s petroleum and petrochemical equipment manufacturing sector and is recognized as a national high-tech enterprise, as well as one of the “specialized, high-tech, and innovative” enterprises. We lead the domestic market for wellhead equipment and tools, which includes elevators, tongs, elevator links, and slips.
At Rutong, we prioritize technological innovation, developing industry-leading capabilities in R&D. By targeting cutting-edge technologies and industry trends, we continually drive product transformation and upgrades, ensuring that our products maintain a leading domestic position while reaching internationally advanced standards. Our product range spans over 8,000 specifications across nine categories, including tongs, elevators, elevator links, slips, and automated equipment for drilling and workover operations. In recent years, Rutong has proactively adapted to the growing demand for automation in oil drilling and workover processes, speeding up the development of advanced wellhead automation products such as hydraulic elevators, power slips, automatic catwalks, and automatic workover systems. We have undertaken several provincial Torch Plan projects and hold independent intellectual property rights for over 60 core technologies. While strengthening our core petroleum products, Rutong has also ventured into emerging industries supported by national policies. Notably, we have expanded into the rail transit sector, with products that have passed CRCC certification and been recognized as qualified suppliers by China Railway Corporation, positioning this new sector as a future growth driver for our company.

We have earned multiple certifications, including ISO9001 for quality management, API (Q1, 7K, 8C) from the American Petroleum Institute, ISO14001 for environmental management, ISO10012 for measurement management, as well as certifications from Lloyd’s Register (LR), Germanischer Lloyd (GL), HSE, OHSAS18000, and CE certification from the European Union. These ensure the quality and safety of all products and services we provide.

We offer comprehensive technical support, including guidance, training, and maintenance for product installation and operation, ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction. Our dedication to quality has solidified our role as a primary supplier to CNPC, Sinopec, and CNOOC, while also driving our expanding presence in global markets, including the United States, the Middle East, Central Asia, Southeast Asia, Russia, and North Africa, further boosting our market influence.
