The TXGN-type casing‑running unit is a mechanically integrated tool for running casing, mounted on the top drive via an adapter.
The device can perform casing suspension, make-up, cementing, circulation, and casing rotation, thereby addressing the challenges of casing running in complex well conditions. It can also be equipped with a wireless torque‑measurement system for monitoring make‑up torque and other parameters.
Integrated functionality and reduced staffing have enhanced operational efficiency. Remote operator control has improved job safety. When combined appropriately with other tools, this approach has ushered in a significant new breakthrough in casing‑running operations.
