The TXGN-type casing‑running unit is a mechanically integrated tool for running casing, which is mounted on the top drive via an adapter.
The device can perform casing suspension, make-up, cementing, circulation, and casing rotation, thereby addressing the challenges of casing running in complex well conditions. It can also be equipped with a wireless torque measurement system for monitoring make-up torque and other parameters.
Integrated functionality and reduced staffing have enhanced operational efficiency. Remote operator control has improved job safety. When combined appropriately with other tools, it has ushered in a significant new breakthrough in casing‑running operations.
