SSW40 pneumatic turnbuckle pliers are used in tripping operation, instead of the past rope (chain). Compared with traditional chain pliers, SSW40 pneumatic turnbuckle pliers have the advantages of fast turnbuckle, strong non-slip, no damage to drill pipes, etc., and can be used in oil and mud environments, which is safe and reliable.
The pneumatic turnbuckle pliers are mainly composed of two symmetrical components, each of which is driven by an air motor to drive the wheel to rotate. Due to the effect of friction torque, the drill pipe rotates with it to achieve the purpose of screw-in or screw-out of the pipe. For pipes of different diameters, by adjusting the opening of the pliers head to adapt to it, there is no need to replace the roller, which brings great convenience to manufacture, use and maintenance. The gas motor in the turnbuckle pliers can rotate in the forward and reverse directions, which is more advantageous for use in coring operations and handling downhole accidents.
